VinylFrog gloss black taillight tint gives your rear lights a deep, dark smoked look while keeping brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights fully visible. The high-gloss finish reflects light like wet paint when the car is off, but the film itself maintains 43% light transmission so your lamps do their job.
The air-channel paper liner pushes trapped air out during installation, so you are not fighting bubbles. Clean the lens, apply with a squeegee, trim the edges, and you are done. The adhesive is repositionable, which means you can slide it around to get the alignment right before pressing it down. A self-healing topcoat closes minor wash marks and light scratches with heat exposure.
Maintenance is simple. Use a mild, alcohol-free cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth. Skip the harsh chemicals and abrasives. Built to handle weather, UV, and road grit, this film holds up from -50°C to 110°C and lasts one year under vertical exposure. Removes cleanly with gentle heat when you are ready for a change.
Light Output Note: At the listed VLT, this film allows enough light to pass through for safe, legal use on public roads.
If the taillight surface is clean and undamaged before installation, the wrap adheres evenly and removes smoothly.
Using gentle heat (like a heat gun or hairdryer) softens the adhesive, making it easier to peel without pulling or tearing the headlight’s factory coating.
If the Taillight are already oxidized, yellowed, or have weak factory coating, peeling the wrap can pull off clear coat or cause flaking.
